This clip is from Rick's exclusive, web-only, commercial-free "post-show show" called The Conversation Continues. You did not see this on TV.

It's Rick continuing his discussion with Andy Bichlbaum, the man behind a well-planned phony news conference aimed at embarrassing the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

It worked.

Oh, and check out Rick's daily 15-minute interview segment The Conversation Continues. It's every day at 4 PM ET. Click here for the link.

Praise to Rick Sanchez and Roland for calling out those fat cat execs. Just got out of the shower and over heard them. For the love of your country keep speaking out about this bailout problem. This can potentially bring down this country and world stability. Post the names and addresses of these execs on your program and make them feel the pressure just like the rest of us Americans. Its not illegal! Obama has a lot on his plate but this added pressure by good reporting lately is actually getting him to make the changes he promised. Thank you! Oh and don't cut Fox "news" any slack. They have been lying to their viewers for over 8 years now and are partly responsible for Bushes success in stealing the election, back in 2000. Enough is enough!!! Thanks again. 10-21-09

When anyone takes public money for a private business venture, they are subject to rules and regulations of the government entity where the money came from. So, any employment contracts can be held null and void by the government.

Black in America, Latino in America. I don't want to be Black, I don"t want to be Latino, I don't want to be Asian, I don't want to be Indian, or any other race. That must make out to be a racist. All I want to be is a nation of mixed (race) people. Please show me and the rest of the nation how to be an AMERICAN in AMERICA.

Peter Smith   October 21st, 2009 5:16 pm ET

Rick, i watch your show everyday. I've written to Jack C, Wolf, Anderson, and Campbell. No one seems to care about this idea but I know you and your team have that little bit of difference than the rest, that willingness to listen. So here's an idea... What if every congressional bill HAD to be read over by a panel of 12 people from the District of Columbia. The service would function like Jury duty. There could be one congressional aid or bill writer in the room to try to explain some things to them, the things that were to confusing would have to be changed until they were. What if we had a government the American people could understand. Imagine if CNN could interview AVERAGE citizens who have just had entire bills explained thoroughly to them by aids until it was clear, what a concept!

Rick Sanchez is a disgrace to any opinion, political or news organization that would have him. I used to cringe when he would be on Lou Dobbs because he was so unprofessional and petty – a true sycophant. Judging from a lot of his coverage, he also appears unamerican. CNN should be ashamed to have him on. A sad era in CNN's history when somone like Rick Sanchez has a show. People like Rick should should have a blog at best.

Informed Arizona   October 21st, 2009 8:27 pm ET

This punking is OK, but CNN (and you) thinks bad things about the "pimp and prostitute" "punk of ACORN. Why don't you give this the same amout of airtime as this arrogant sob?

William Meaux   October 22nd, 2009 9:07 am ET

Rick,

Saw your morning hit about Latino in America. Don't make the mistake man! Teach your children Spanish, and speak with them in Spanish. America is a bilingual country living in denial. My father was educated in Louisiana through 7th grade in French, and then laws prohibited use of the language in schools, and now the state spends millions to keep our dying language alive there. If you have it in your blood, don't deny your children the language. It is a gift from your parents. Like them, be proud and fight the stigma. Thanks for the segment. Look forward to the show. Rick

Good morning.

I am a first generation Asian Indian immigrant who went through a long 16 year process from being a student and to finally become a US citizen. Let alone Latinos,my question is why should privileges be provided for criminals, tax evaders and illegals regardless of ethnicity at the cost of all tax payers.? Keeping emotions and politics aside, is it appropriate for people who do not respect the law of the land to be here in the first place. ? It saddens me when illegals were allowed to work and be given privileges without penalties imposed on them. This country is loosing an average 200,000 jobs every month and citizens are suffering. Perhaps there will be a substantial relief if 10% of the jobs which illegals work is provided to people who legally deserve.

Harold R. Swart   October 22nd, 2009 9:56 am ET

I'm listening to the CNN broadcast and would like to participate in the CNN Radio but have only heard the phone # once but I only got in on the last part. Please ask Heidi to put the phone # up on the screen. I am American but my son is Hispanic or Mexican/American and while listening to you mention that your children don't speak Sp. I thought how sad this is because there is a lot of money out there for bilingual people and even more for bicultural ones. And it isn't as hard as it may seem.

Karen Hobbs   October 22nd, 2009 10:07 am ET

This note if for Rick regarding illegal immigrants==you say they pay all the time for being in the USA by paying sales tax every time they even buy a piece of gum, I would like to let you know the state of OREGON has no sales tax–oops.

Ruriko Parsons   October 22nd, 2009 10:11 am ET

Why does Rick Sanchez feel the need to speak Spanish on his show? English is the language of the U.S. There are many ethnicities in our country and you don't hear other people speaking Japanese, Polish, Russsian etc. on an English speaking channel. I feel the need to switch the channel when he switches languages. Go and work for a Spanish only channel if he can't speak the language of this country.

If majority of Americans will be latinos shortly what kind of world will we have since today 70% drop out of high school and 60% are pregnant by age 16. We will have a society of loosers for our kids.

Jim Tyson   October 22nd, 2009 11:17 am ET

Rick,
I heard your comment on TV today about your children not knowing Spainish. My regret as an adult is that I did not learn Italian to speak to my grandfather. We took many walks together and he was a loving/kind man. However, his comments were very much as you said that he wanted more for me than he had coming to this country.
I think grandchildren are lucky to have the opportunities that your children have and as I did but will miss learning more from their grandparents if that can't communicate to each other.

Best to you and your family,
Jim

Jennifer Reinert   October 22nd, 2009 11:22 am ET

Hello Rick, I wanted to tell you I try to NEVER miss your show, you make news so interesting & are so fair. I too am a Englsih emmigrate, met & married my husband in London, England & we emigrated here. We took worked two jobs to put our child through university, as neither of us had the opportunity to be college aducated. I being one of 8 children, & I too have done cleaning & waitressing jobs to help make ends meet.
I particularly love your enlightening of your Hispanic country people, who get such a bad rap here. Such hard working people & who make lots of contractors rich. But, unfortunately, you can only enlighten people who open their minds. So, many here do not wish to do that or learn & forget the whole concept of America. It is so unbeliveable to me that in this century, in this rich country, there are so many ignorant people in how they chose to think. The propaganda about many things here, will always hold America back. Immgriates who work so hard to improve the lives & teachings of their offsrping, can only make this a better country. Please keep on trying to delight & enlighten us.

Best Regards, Jennifer

Alex Vine   October 22nd, 2009 12:24 pm ET

Hey Rick.....when I was a kid growing up in Boston 60 years ago the Italians were looked down on much the same as Hispanics are today.

It's odd to me that this is never brought up in any of the conversations, but the truth of the matter is, all Italians are "latinos".

Rick, Do you have any idea when the Senate will get off their backsides (and I'm saying it nicely) to vote on the Extention of Unemployment Benefits? Its fallen off the radar and my husband has only 2 weeks left and than we have nothing, zero, nada. What will we do? Who do we turn to? Please can you find out any Info!!

Adrian Prosser   October 22nd, 2009 3:07 pm ET

Our government is corrupted by Wall Street. The Wall Street CEO deserve NOTHING. When I was GM/CEO I would have been fired if my company failed...WITHOUT A BONUS. These guys get bailout money PLUS bonuses! UNBELIEVABLE!

Adrian Prosser   October 22nd, 2009 3:08 pm ET

Wall Street CEO's are crooks!

Bob in Tulsa   October 22nd, 2009 3:14 pm ET

The executive pay cut is a shot across the bow from the Obama administration. It is a matter of ethics and performance responsibility. No one is messing with healthy, productive companies. Those who want to play fast and loose without regard to the harm they cause need to know that things have changed. There must be accountability.

Carol W   October 22nd, 2009 3:15 pm ET

There's no reason at all that the corporate pay shouldn't be cut and I'm all for it. Why and who can't live comfortably on say $500,000.00 a year when so many of us live on so much less then that and we certainly don't get all the perks and health care that they get either!!

mark brown   October 22nd, 2009 3:17 pm ET

Rick,
Seven companies is not enough. Goldman got special status as a bank holding company and 13 billion from AIG on credit default swaps. And get this they didn't have any mortgages to hedge. They were just betting on the default and choice a bad company(AIG) to be the bookie. We need all of them to reduce their pay and perhaps a lot more the 50%. I know you are saying 90% but the reality from MSNBC is 50%. I voted for Obama but he keeps dropping the ball. Bad healthcare plan , bad credit card reform bill and now bad pay reduction. He is 0-3, if he was playing B-Ball he'd be out and he's just about there with me.

Robert Kenna   October 22nd, 2009 3:23 pm ET

Rick: Was it not Bill Clinton who signed into law that banks had to lend money to people without required assets. Did not Freddie and fannie back these loans and did they not sell them the banks at a discount? Did not the goverment in fact cause this whole mess by telling business how to operate? Cut executive pay and that of congress and the senate for failing the American people.

Chip B.   October 22nd, 2009 3:23 pm ET

Implicit in the contract they signed to get their bonuses, was that they run thieir companies at a PROFIT !!
They DID NOT !! THEY broke the contract in not fullfilling their duties to that end.

NO BONUS !!

Joseph Caruso   October 22nd, 2009 3:25 pm ET

While I applaud you for bringing the wall street bonus issue to the forefront, I also say shame on you. You did not mention Golman or Morgan Stanley. What kind of risks as usal did they have to take to pay so soon their bailout money to the taxpayers and as the case is for Golman, they have earmarked more than sixteen BILLION DOLLARS for 2009 bonus pool?

Billie   October 22nd, 2009 3:27 pm ET

The truth....no bonuses for bailed out bankers.. It should be based on their successes...not on failure. It's time to wake up and smell the roses...the glory days are OVER!

Jean   October 22nd, 2009 3:27 pm ET

Bankers should not be getting any more bonuses. They make enough money already. They are too greedy for more. They are getting older and they cannot take it with them when they vacate the world. It is the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.
President Obama did a good thing to roll-back the pay of those executives and to deny them bonuses. Obviously, they will not like him. No doubt he did this to also appease the American public, some of whom were against the stimulus money paid out to them. There are those who are still being critical of his actions. It appears there are some people who will never be pleased. You know the saying: "Darned if I do and darned if I don't."
I have a message for them: Cease talking and do more; practice the Faith in the One and Only True God and pray for themselves, their relatives, friends, their politicians, their country and the entire world.
On another note executives are paid exorbitant sums of money and also receive some hefty bonuses. How much money do people who have everything still need? How much money do they need to live on? Money can be the root of all evil. The more some people have, it is the more they want. Some are successful in not paying their fair annual revenue while the little person with minimal salary has to pay revenue and what they can ill afford. These will never get away with it.

Debbie   October 22nd, 2009 3:28 pm ET

Never to employers have the right to no pay wages to an employee if they have worked for them...... however, I heard the word "illegal" – they have no "rights" in this country – if you want rights, come here legally to work – do it right then protest all you want.

chaney   October 22nd, 2009 3:28 pm ET

If you get tax money to keep you afloat then all mega buck bonus contracts are null and void. In fact these people are in my opinion guilty of treason, they are a public enemy.... they brought this country virtually to its knees and threaten our democracy because of their unmitigated Greed.......

Louise   October 22nd, 2009 3:28 pm ET

Let's see, these Wall Street fat-cats knowingly made bad loans which resulted in people losing their homes, then when the banks went bust no one could get credit so people got laid off their jobs and on and on. Bonuses for Wallk Street??? We should boycott any financial institution that gives any bonus to its CEOs for bankrupting our country and give our business to those banks that acted honorably,

Eileen Vernon   October 22nd, 2009 3:29 pm ET

Rick,
The wage and bonus restrictions put on company that have received our tax money should not get any pay or bonus/ until the company pays back the money we loaned to them. This is not government control, it is common sense. While they owe us money, they do not get raises and bonus for driving the company into the ground. Who cares if they go elsewhere to work? These guys are the ones who broke the company in the first place. Once it is paid back, they can begin to over pay their employes.

laughinglatino   October 22nd, 2009 3:29 pm ET

You know why americans hire illegals? Because they cant get other americans to do the job. If ur tired of illegals gettin the jobs, then get off ur lazy butts and apply for the job.

joe in NC   October 22nd, 2009 3:30 pm ET

Hi Rick,
No illegal aliens have rights here in the us. If they don't get payed for work that's just the way it is. The authorities should go after the employers also. All these illegals are right there protesting, why aren't they rounded up and deported?

Chas   October 22nd, 2009 3:32 pm ET

I don't agree with people entering the country illegally but if one uses another's labor; one must pay for it

kitty Burton   October 22nd, 2009 3:32 pm ET

Of course we should expect the "top dogs " to pay back every cent.
How dare they take my money!!!!!!

Normally I do not want gov't to get involved but in this case it is nec.
Someone has to step in and stop this greed. At a time when Americans are having to sell their homes to stay alive this one takes the cake!!!!!!!!!!

Greg Lanham   October 22nd, 2009 3:32 pm ET

We need not forget that the politicians took bribes and should give all those campaign contributions back to us that they took from these companies also.

Moira M. Guffey   October 22nd, 2009 3:32 pm ET

Hi Rick, The segment on day laborers not being paid is not limited to Latinos- legal or otherwise. I remember being in the VA section of the unemployment office in Phoenix and hearing the VA councillor telling a couple of guys who had worked a week and then not been paid that he had warned them.. I think casual labor may be a higher risk for a lot of folks out there. Might be worth some time to look into. :-)

Inachu   October 22nd, 2009 3:33 pm ET

Some communities are starting to use their own currencies to keep money in the local economy. Doing this will keep the illegals out.

robert ahearn   October 22nd, 2009 3:36 pm ET

These Wall investors make money for a person like myself, and they deserve to be paid well for doing there job.

Monica   October 22nd, 2009 3:38 pm ET

I receuved management bonuses for many years, but they always tied tobottom line Every employee had a stake on the overall results for the Company.Bottom line: No profit, No bonus! How's that for a new rule?

Rob Stone   October 22nd, 2009 3:38 pm ET

I am a republican small businessman and I support the top Bank Executives receiving the monies due them.
If anyone had performed a service and were owed and expecting money contractually owed to us-we expect to get paid that compensation.
The Bank Executives have supported Republican efforts to reign in Health Care Reform and deregulated Banking initiatives and now they are looking for reciprocity.
We are Capitalists and Money drives Politics and vice versa.
PaY Up Now!!! Too Bad So Sad !!!!!

jody Hurst   October 22nd, 2009 3:38 pm ET

I can tell you who will weep for the bankers: the mouthpieces at Fox; Hannity, Beck, and O'Reilly

angela taylor   October 22nd, 2009 3:39 pm ET

I am so pleased to finally see America stand and be united. It seems that we only come together in times of tragedy. We are no longer ignorant to our governments actions. I am truly proud to be an American. I hope we continue to back President Obama because unlike previous presidents I truly believe he has this nation's best interests first and foremost. Handle your business President Obama. I thank you for all of your hard work. No more money Fat Cats it's time for you to see how it truly feels to struggle like the rest of us.

Bill Kerr   October 22nd, 2009 3:42 pm ET

Why is it not right to control the Bankers pay? Do you want them to control your salary? It is unconstituitional for the White houses to do this. First a Democratic controlled Congress said there were no strings attached to the money they gave the...m. Then in Feburary they changed there minds. Also the constuition says that free enterprise can enter in to a contract with anyone and it must be upheld. Now the banks can't uphold the contracts with the CEO because of the government is unheard of. It looks like the Obama administration think the can change the Constituition at will, not only do they think they can when its not going there way, they are changing the constituition daily.Read More

kitty Burton   October 22nd, 2009 3:42 pm ET

I agree with one of the callers Rick. I watch you every day but feel it is NOT nec to speak any language but English.. If they don't understand
then they should learn our language FAST. In fact, why are they hear in the firs place????They must be rounded up,sent back and apply for legal status!!People can't break the laws without a penalty. I am sorry but we must not allow this. They are breaking the law by being here in the first place. Strike One!!!!!!

Dee Richards   October 22nd, 2009 3:43 pm ET

Re: Bonuses

I believe every banker and top executive should get the bonuses they deserve. What do they deserve? A percentage of the amount of legal profit they were instrumental in gaining for the company. In the same light, if they have earned over "x" amount for services rendered and have caused the company to falter, they should be deducted accordingly.

Bill Kerr   October 22nd, 2009 3:44 pm ET

This is only the start, it the White House get away with this, the WH will set salary caps on all jobs.

Beverly   October 22nd, 2009 3:45 pm ET

Rick,
Listening to you talk about illegals not getting paid for the work they do really hit me. I am not a latin american I a US citizen. No matter what your status here, when you work and your employer agrees to pay you, you sould get paid. I am working for a company right now that pays us per "file" (mortgage industry) but then expects up to do other work for free. There are days that I work 10 hours and make nothing. My letter of employment clearly states any off "file" work will be paid at a rate of 12.00 per hours. When I have tried to submit this or ask about it they say "this is the way it is take it or leave it". So for the time being I am forced to work for "free" more than half the time just to make some money. This is a direct result of current economic health and employers taking advantage of people who need jobs.

Nancy Mitchell   October 22nd, 2009 3:45 pm ET

If the illegal aliens are not paid the wages they agreed to work for, is this any different than the bankers who will not be paid what they originally agreed upon?

When so many Americans are out of work, why are these illegals allowed to hold jobs in the USA?

nancy   October 22nd, 2009 3:48 pm ET

That is like slave labor. There is a special place in hell for people
who profit on other peoples misery. Many our suffering while others are so selfish that they only think about them self and money wise on bonus and don't care about other peoples needs and family who are in hunger. I'm so mad that their is people in this world like this.

VIVIANN   October 22nd, 2009 3:49 pm ET

sara-fl   October 22nd, 2009 3:53 pm ET

Hola Rick, thank you for your wonderful program, as a native New Yorker and seeing what's happened to our nation from these corrupt greedy companies, they don't deserve anything. it's not right! The Moral of the American people have been shattered and still being taken to the cleaners while these same corporations are taking our hard earned tax dollars for their petty pleasure, meanwhile people go hungry, with no health care, and millions jobless and we still have time to ask how much should they get reward for. We live in crazy times!
Thank -

The question by itself isserving to "tick me off!" If an inventory were to be available on how many homes, lives, families, marriages, etc., have been negatively altered; how many have resorted to suicide (with more to come)...juxtaposed against the continuing ridiculous over-spending by these companies and their execs...the sum total becomes a crying, wailing shame for "America the Great." Much more monitoring is required – and the monitors will also need monitoring!
Why? Because since time immemorial, there have always been the honest and the dishonest.

Monica   October 22nd, 2009 4:03 pm ET

Re: Bailout bucks to big business bosses:
I only hope we can figure out a way to keep those greedy corporate crooks from continuing to steal OUR money, whether they're taking it through government bailouts or health insurance premiums or interest on loan payments, etc. They're finding plenty of ways to steal it. Why can't we stop them?! NO ONE needs THAT much money when so many in the country and the world are struggling to survive!

Rick Hamner   October 22nd, 2009 4:09 pm ET

Two wrongs don't make a right. Taxpayer money should not have gone to big banks . Banks should pay their obligations. Payoff bank obligations with bank money, or go bankrupt.

Bank employees with a very large payout should be paid or have the matter litigated. The control of this should be the company and it's stockholders or the courts not the government .

The government should be as involved in this as in establishing a state church. NOT

Government should own these 7 companies. NOT

anonymous   October 22nd, 2009 4:22 pm ET

Rick, I saw Steve Wynn and Governor Granholm on Fox news Sunday with Chris Wallace. In his interview he questioned Governor Granholms understanding of economic and painted picture of himself as a kind and magnanimous boss. Steve Wynn Lied when he said that has never laid off an employee in 40 years. I was laid my Mr. Wynn as were many others . I also know of security guards, maids and gaming staff that been let go so that Steve Wynn could maintain his lifestyle. This includes billing the company for the private use of the company Planes and a Yacht. I think someone needs to expose the truth about the corporate greed that comes at the expenses of the employees who worked hard to help him build his empire and are now losing their homes while Wynn lives a lavish life at the expensive of the stockholders.

Searle Sweet   October 22nd, 2009 4:25 pm ET

Dear Rick
No WAY should any of these people at these banks should ever get a bonus of any kind as long as they are getting government money.

pinkladym9   October 22nd, 2009 4:49 pm ET

Immigration fee to work & to receive a green card the legal way is $775 per person. My husband is German and we paid. How is it that all those that are here Illegally can work but not pay the fee & file to be legal. If they all became legal then we as American would not complain about them. Also think about it $775 is a lot times thousands that are here Illegally. Why is it that they don't want to pay or learn English. if i move to their country i have to learn their language. Why they can't learn ours.

independentnyer   October 23rd, 2009 3:38 am ET

Rick, Let them have ten times the bonuses they are getting now! Twenty times! Because then due to their unethical business practices they will go under; this time those who have been robbed will not be paying the thieves.

Cris   October 23rd, 2009 9:57 am ET

Can someone please point out to me the article of the Constitution of the United States that gives the President the authority to dictate pay to private citizens. Last time I checked it was the Congress that had the responsibility of regulating trade and companies that trade between states not the President. Did we change this when I wasn't looking? I agree that something should be done about it but if we are going to take away pay form people who take tax payer money and under perform then Congress and the President should work for free. Actually Obama owes us money. What a waste my vote for him was.

indepenyer   October 23rd, 2009 2:36 pm ET

Rick- I think you should do a two hour show on 25 ethical businesses in various fields in America. It would be great to shine some sunlight on businesses working for the good who make a nice profit because of their ethics.

Also, it would be interesting to do a show on the top five mistrusted industries in America; me thinks healthcare execs would be number one.

indepenyer   October 23rd, 2009 2:52 pm ET

Rick,

This post is regarding eduction in schools. We need to get rid of study hall and have one coping skills class; taught by someone the kids connect with, not the old, weird teacher, who the kids make fun of. The topics can be coping with anger, dealing with break-ups and death, alternatives to drug use, how to balance a check book and not end up debt, ethics, ETC. Not a pollyanna class; but one in which kids really talk to each other and realize they are not alone.

This would reduce school violence and suicides in such a major way. Why isn't such a needed class implemented? Because unfit parents will sue. So, those "pc" parents can choose between study hall or life skills.

Also, how about this pilot program. Take the three most violent cites for youth in America. Establish a "dream center" in each city. Any person up to age 18 can sign up for a year long after school program (which will teach coping skills). If the teenager completes the program they can have top level assistance in making one dream of their's come true. The building can be state of the art with basketball courts, a recording studio, a pool, instruments etc. It would be like "make a wish" but for anyone, not just terminally ill youth. I think this would make a huge impact for the next generation. Kids need guidance on how to make their dreams come true; not just math and science.

Hey Rick, why did you keep calling that Northwest jet a jumbo jet? The A320 is the Airbus equivalent of the Boeing 737. This story is dramatic enough without overstating the size of the plane. There were still almost 150 passengers' lives at stake, not to mention potential casualties on the ground.

By the way, I loved the "theory" of that funny guy in Vegas. If this incident was the result of a lovers' spat and/or, ahem, tryst, it sure gives a different slant to "the mile high club." And as for the word cockpit, well...

I’m a Cuban American that very often disagrees with some of your points of views, but what you did in your exchange with Jane Valez-Mitchell made so proud, that it brought some tears to my eyes. You had courage and clear thinking in your position, but I have always believes that been ungrateful is the worst thing a human being could be. You shown us that is not your case. Camilo Vila

Just to let you know. George Snuffleuffagus as I endearingly call him although it's George Stroumboulopoulos which I can't pronounce. If you ever want to go on his show, You're actually allowed to swear. Not that's that my recommendation, but it's after 10 o'clock. Yep, all kinds of words are allowed, not that I recommend it. But you can, really. If you want.

jen   November 5th, 2009 1:41 am ET

Oh by the by, swearing on Canadian tv is apparently ok after 10 o'clock. Hate comments are not however and you can go to prison for it. Just a thought.

jen   November 5th, 2009 2:13 am ET

Just so as not to be misunderstood. Canadians are allowed to curse whenever they want to, not that I'd recommend it. On tv however there are rules. Not before ten o'clock. But still let me emphasize, I don't recommend it. Hate comments, that's a different story. You can go to prison for that.

Brian   November 5th, 2009 3:26 pm ET

The reason why some will not want to go on your show is the same reason Noam chomsly does not do TV interviews anymore.

The host has control of the questions and the replies the people invited to give their answers/replies do not have the time to either elucidate a coherent reply to fit within a time limit and they are stopped because of a commercial break.

But lets make the people invited be allowed control and let the host ask their questions and then the host like Rick Sanchez will be made to look like a fool as well.

Rick Sanchez is part of the propaganda machine. Just to live off of sound bites as if American truth justice and the legal system can live off of sound bites......
NOAM CHOMSKY RULES!

What I saw was an everyday occurrence in most courts today . The judge had no say in the matter because she knew it was wrong and deliberately played down the deputy’s action. Nowhere in court law doe it say a court officer has the right without warrant to steal anything from anyone personnel belongings let alone a lawyers. The sad thing was that the judge in the matter consigned the deputies actions. It was wrong “your honor” one cannot not make a wrong, right! Judges are corrupt and court officers know it. Why couldn’t she make a discerned decision to say to the deputy that was wrong? I feel sorry for the lawyer who clearly understood what was going on and yet she was made to feel she had to some who vindicate herself when she knew the judge should have stepped up to the plate. Obviously the judge and her neighbor’s sons have been doing unethical doings and she doesn’t even chastise her boys, well someone needed a slap across the rear, the problem is I don’t know whether to slap the mother or her bad little boys.

I just came accross the article of those muslim clerics in the US saying outside there mosque's that the shootings in Fort Hood were justified just like Sept. 11 was ,if this is the way they feel and are preaching this kind of hatred towards us why do we constantly let them hide behind the consttuionof this great country .when will this country finally say enough is enough get the hell out if you don't like it. I would love to see them in there own country get by with what there doing if it was against the country or beleifs of the country

Don   November 6th, 2009 11:52 am ET

Rick, in regards to the Ft. Hood tragedy, I would just like to pose the question as to why no one tried to stop the shooter? We train soldiers to fight in war with guns and such as well as hand-to-hand combat and it is appears as though the majority of them coward in fear. What does that say about our current military strategy abroad? 13 Killed and 30 wounded and not a single soldier, that we know of, tried to stop this man. We had civilians stop hijackers on 911 and yet trained soldiers either did not or could not stop one man. Why? Why? Why?

Kenneth Warren, Jr   November 6th, 2009 2:32 pm ET

Mr. Sanchez, I tagged you on the CNN Facebook page then found this site so I will leave the message here as well. Love your work!

The civilian HERO police officer should have killed that Army Psyciatrist yesterday. He will get no more than a slap on the wrist b/c of his religious beliefs and also knows what to say as well as how to say it to be considered too "unstable" to stand trial. On top of that the FBI had been watching him for... months (as reported on HLN today) and did nothing before he did this?? I don't know about you but that sounds awefully fimilar to me.

Keep up the great work. Looking forward to your time-slot today.

A former neighbor of the accused at Ft. Hood mentioned that he shared his apt. with a man she assumed to be his brother.Has he been located? Why would someone born and educated in the U.S. walk around dressed as though he'd arrived from some middle east country an hour ago. He is making a statement and this alone should have raised some suspicion.Would everyone at C.N.N. stop being so politically correct and start telling it like it is. Fay Hill Vernon B.C. Canadal

Your follow the money segment was very interesting. Now lets see if your realy a fair man.Run the same stats on the money given by the lawyers to stop reform on law suits.Bet you don't

Doug Waddell   November 9th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

Great research into House buy-off of votes by "Big HC." Now off to the Senate where the real finals will be held. Shame that for $65,000 a vote some way to buy off these House "ostrich" cowards couldn't be found (if for no other reason than we could move on with things...)

JOEL   November 9th, 2009 4:53 pm ET

Richard   November 9th, 2009 4:58 pm ET

Even the Judge failed to correct the court officer's for taking the ;lawyers file from her files. i'm not even shock, it may be going on else where.

Andrew A. Mendoza   November 9th, 2009 5:00 pm ET

I just like to say Thank You for your effort and your search for the Truth in all your reporting. After watching the story in an Arizona Court Room I was not surprised with the video and the behavior of the Court Room Guards and the response of the Judge. They were absolutely caught off doing something wrong and had no prepared responses. They are no different than the accused being tried for a crime. I hope that this video is observed by the Federal Authorities to expose the behavior and injustices going on In this state and there courtrooms.

so opposing the health care bill means one is in the pocket of the insurance companies? great news, i'll expect a check in the near future!

Miki GaGa   November 11th, 2009 4:04 pm ET

Hey Rick My neighbor is a city worker and he goes home 3 to 4 times a day foe about a hour each time while he is still on the clock. How do you like your tax dollars at work!!!!!!!!!

akos kovach   November 11th, 2009 4:06 pm ET

Rick Sanchez,
If this health care bill goes into law, I hope and I assume members of congress will also be included. The president too!! I know they have their own special premiun health insurance. Will that be taxed or are they exempt from that also??

SONJA   November 11th, 2009 4:45 pm ET

rick, we have insurance through our union. we are retired and spent many years getting health ins. we are elderly and have a contract that is paid ins with coal production. why would you want us to pay taxes after many years we have gone through to always have to fight and give up for insurance.

Nina Valli   November 11th, 2009 4:47 pm ET

Would you ponder this–on this Veterans' Day: How many Pro-Lifers take part in sending our young men and women to an ill conceived war? What a travesty! Isn't a fully grown young healthy person's life as -if not more- valuable than that of a fetus? Yet we send these beautiful individuals to be killed or maimed physically or emotionally!
A true Pro-Lifer would value the life of any person, not just a fetus.!

Evelyn Rivera   November 11th, 2009 5:15 pm ET

At the end of the day, no matter what President Obama decides on the war somebody will be unhappy. This decision is too important for him to base it on who he will be making "happy" , but rather what is best for the troops and USA. As far as Michael Steele's comment he is just trying to get blacks to back him up one way or the other. The man is a useless!
