Single Payer Health Care System

President Obama met privately with one HMO executive six times, so I can see why he ruled out the single payer health care option. I believe the public has the right to know what the savings will actually be with a single payer system so we can have all the facts to make our own decision about health care options. I am requesting that the Congressional Budget Office be solicited to prepare an estimate of what our savings will be with a single payer system. Hopefully it will be sufficient to pay for high risk participants, low income participants and a reduction in costs to all participants.

"Better to throw accolades than shoes"?? What a LACK of "class"!! It's embarrassing to me that this kind of idiocy represents the American people, but then this is the same party that removed the computer keys aren't they????

Pls send all child sex offenders to GITMO.
They have destroyed the lives of kids so they
deserve same treatment as GITMO inmates.

Re: Rush L. Money is power. People with money have ruined the economy and the whole political system through their control of congress. So what is one to do?

How inappropriate of Mercury Morris to interfere with your race-bating
agenda. You should be more careful in your selection of guests.

My comment is in regard to Rush Limbaugh. I am not a racist, and it really angers me that you would not include the rest of the story transcript when you posted Limbaughs comments on blacks and slavery. As usual, its a bunch of liberal spin. The fact that we had slaves in this country is an aweful, aweful thing. I am very ashamed of that fact. What Rush was talking about when he said that slavery built the south was really a credit to there work. Right or wrong, its a fact.
The atheletes that are against him owning a team are only mislead by the idiots they get there info from.
ON a similar note, another fact the American prison system is made up of nearly 70% blacks, Yes 70%. Check that for accuracy if you dont believe me. I have black friends as well as white, I dont hate anyone, but I am also realistic, We dare not address that fact do we?
I dont watch the communist news network I just happen to be interested in the liberal B.s that your network was spewing out todayon Rush. YOu call yourselves reporting the news. Why dont you guys report the corruption that is taking place in our Govt. How about the fact that with liberals in charge our country is now being run right in the ground. More and more very poor decisions made by our Elected officials That we may never recover from. The fact that we are headed to a one world Govt and our Nation as we know it is going by the wayside. Why dont you report on that???? Why dont you report on the fact that the reason our great nation has become the most powerful on earth is because of what we have stood for from the beginning. Remember George Washington and the founding fathers?
We used to be a God fearing nation and God blessed this country because of it. Now, we are killing thousands and thousands of babies every year, we are trying our best to sanction Gay marriages and justify homosexuality. Why dont you report on that?? Left to our own devices we are bringing judgement from God on our Nation. We have a President who claims,we are not a christian nation. What the hell is wrong with us? Are we so far gone that we cant see our Country is being lead in the wrong direction? Is anyone listening? Does anyone care for the truth anymore? Hello,Hello, Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BILL SPRUILL   October 16th, 2009 8:49 pm ET

RICK,

YOU JUST DID AN INTERVIEW WITH A INTERNIST ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT KIDS SHOULD BE VACCINATED AGAINST H1NI. YOU DID NOT ASK HIM AT WHAT AGE? IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO DEFINE THE AGE OF CHILDREN @ RISK FOR EXAMPLE, 0-5, SCHOOL AGE, (6-18)? AGE IS OFTEN A RISK FACTOR FOR SOME DISEASES AND SPECIFICITY WOULD PROVIDE CLARITY. JUST A THOUGHT...

THANKS,

BILL

So-called conservatives are funny. They all complain about congress expanding the debt, and budgets, and so-on, yet they were quick to back Bush, on his 2 bailouts, and the Iraq war. Now we have people questioning the president's motives in the Afghan war, because he wont make the same mistake...make hasty moves that will be costly for American families, and their pockets. I mean really, if republicans (real republicans who make > 250k/yr, AND fake ones who are being used for votes, and political fodder) would have kept their eye on the ball, and put 170k troops in AFGHANISTAN IN THE FIRST PLACE...than THAT war might be won by now, and ALL the money wasteD on these wars now, could be reinvested in our own country. But let them have their way, and we should send over 40k more troops (and the money it takes to buy their tanks, hummers, bullets, etc) even though the Afghan elections are A SHAM. Funny how history repeats itself when idiots are at the helm. Glad Obama is a thinker instead of a puppet like Bush was to Chaney.

Rick, You said something bout people not watching the aftershow. I watched it once when you had Holyfield on, and it lasted for like 5 minutes, and I was like Is that it? 5 minutes wasn`t worth it for me, so I just started watching the Situation Room with the Wolf, and commenting on the Cafferty File.

Hi Rick-

You had reported a few weeks ago that the house approved another unemployment extension and should pass in the senate... What happened? I haven't seen a follow-up since this recent bill has stalled in the senate. Any updates? My insurance along with many others is about to run out and we need help.

Bill   October 22nd, 2009 10:25 pm ET

Hey Rick. I'm rather disappointed in the news today. It seem to me that all the newscasters have to inject their opinion into the news, like somebody really cares what they think. You all act like experts on everything, (not you so much). I'm referring to Jane Valez Mitchell, the Campbell girl, Nancy Grace, Glenn Beck and the rest. The only one I really like to listen to is Jack Cafferty. What has the news and the country come to. Fox news should get out of the business of politics and just report the news, without bias. Thank you for at least reading this, I don't expect any changes though.
