A pastor in Arizona in a recent sermon said he hates Barack Obama and "wants him to melt like a snail" and die. Worrisome, disturbing and chilling.

And here's the pastor's response:

"I think that Barack Obama should be tried and executed for conspiracy to commit murder. I am an American who is tired of my tax dollars funding abortions and infanticide in the US and other parts of the world. Abortion is murder. God has commanded me as a preacher to preach the entire Bible including the parts that are negative or unpopular. Christians should read the book of Psalms before condemning my statements. I made it clear in my sermon that I am not condoning vigilantism. In the sermon I stated that 'we wrestle not against flesh and blood,' but that rather this is a spiritual battle. However, I do believe that if our government were doing its job, it would carry out justice against those who commit murder or conspire to commit murder, including Barack Obama who has issued executive orders funding abortions in the US and abroad. For example, Charles Manson never physically killed anyone; however, he was given a death sentence for conspiracy to commit murder."
Thank you,
Pastor Steven L Anderson

Rick follows up on that video that shows a man outside a President Obama event in Phoenix with an AR-15 on his back. In this interview, he asks Ernest Hancock of Freedomsphoenix.com, why carry guns to a public gathering, whether it's legal or not? You gotta watch this.

Blog editor's note: After today's newscast, we heard from Phoenix Police Sergeant Andy Hill. He had this to say about the meeting Ernest Hancock referred to during the interview:

"The Phoenix Police Department has had a Community Response Unit for many years whose task is to interact with all possible community groups and organizations.
The purpose is to encourage an open dialogue and address issues.
When it comes to demonstrations, open communication with those who plan on demonstrating is critical to the public safety.
The building up of trust with these groups enables us to understand their intent, to plan accordingly, and to explain to them the law and what the parameters are with law enforcement.
We work with our federal, state, and local partners who work events with us and share public safety information.
The purpose of the meeting with the person in question you asked about was to facilitate good communication and understanding of the group’s plan, our response, and the parameters within which we would work to protect the public and enforce the law.
Their demonstration was met with our public safety plan, and the result was no law violations, no arrests, and a safe public."

Did you see the people gathered outside President Obama's VFW speech Monday in Arizona?

Several people brought their weapons. Their WEAPONS! Pistols and rifles! One man broght an AR-15 assault rifle! To a presidential event!

We couldn't believe what we were seeing.

Want to know what the Secret Service did about it?

Watch the clip.

The video is startling. During a town hall meeting in her home district of Houston, Democratic Representative Sheila Jackson Lee appears to be very interested in listening and speaking into a cell phone. That sounds normal, but she was doing that while a woman in the audience was trying to ask her a question!

Rick invited Congresswoman Lee onto the show to explain the video. Certainly she'll clarify everything, right?

Every day, we see a new low in American behavior at these health care town hall meetings. From childish shouting and name-calling, to outright physical assault!

Watch this clip. I interview a woman who was tossed out of a Missouri town hall meeting hosted by Sen. Claire McCaskill. Why? She says because somebody ELSE grabbed her poster and ripped it up!

But we have the video. Watch it with me and let's see if she's telling the truth.
