What an awesome idea to allow people to know where you come from. What a salute to your Heritage.I used to be ashamed of my parents coming from Ark. where people are supposed to be stupid, working cleaning and picking up other people's trash.
When time came for college all the people they worked for chipped in and I made it.
Today I stand in front of my beautiful home, or ride around in my RR and sometimes i just cry because I find it so hard to share just because you are Black like I am, or 94 years old and can hardly read like my Mother, that no matter what race or creed, with a little work, respect , and compassion for other people sooner or later doors will
fly open and we can feel so proud. I think you know the rest.

Everytime a white officer come incontact with a African-American the white officer is right,if you where to go back and look at some cases and the same thing is said and done.Look at every person that was talking they where white, you never had a case where officers told on another.

Rick,
I would like to add a note about the lanquage immigrants speak in there adopted country. When the immigrant arrives they obviously have their native lanquage and may or may not have english. When I visit a foriegn country I take great pride in making an effort to learn the lanquage. I am far from fluent in any lanquage other than english but I feel that if I were immersed in a foriegn country for an extended period I would certainly be able to make myself understood. Since english is the official lanquage of this country with ample opportunity to use it there does not seem a reasonable excuse to not practice it at least sufficient to make yourself understood. It is unfortunate more emphasis is not placed on everyone being multi-linqual in this country.

These Latina women are a perfect example of how people create racism in their own minds, then attribute those thoughts to other people. Stereotypes are valid, stop whining about them. The entire concept of psychological profiling is based upon stereotypes.

I would have never assumed all of these women were Latina. One of them looks very white to me. Another was offended by someone assuming she was a court reporter. All that tells me, is how these women look down upon court reporters. Can't we find something more important to whine about?

If I saw a white guy with a mullet, I wouldn't assume he was lawyer. Likewise, you do not see too many Latina lawyers. Someone made an assumption based upon statistics. That doesn't make them a rotten person.

I would be upset if I was a maid. I certainly would not work for any of these arrogant women, who obviously think they are superior just like Sotomayor. It is disturbing that you prop these women up as good people.
