There's something else I want you to take note of today.

This one is for all of you who feel like you've been taken for granted by your boss.

Let's take it a step further, that boss fires you, how do you prove him wrong?

Yesterday, we got the answer. You keep your head up, and you prove him wrong.

This is one of those stories that transcends sports.

Chad Pennington was cut by New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini. He wasn't good enough anymore, they wanted a big name, so they signed Brett Farve.

Pennington didn't cry, didn't complain and didn't name call. Instead he went to play for a respectable, but horrible competitor at the time, the Miami Dolphins, the worst team in football.

What a difference a year makes. Yesterday Pennington played against the team that threw him away, the team with the famous quarterback. Guess who won? Pennington and the Dolphins! Guess who's going to the playoffs? Pennington and the Dolphins! Guess who's staying home? The New York Jets.

One more question: guess who just lost his job? Head coach Eric Mangini, who got rid of Pennington, was fired today.

Pennington proved his boss wrong. And today even New Yorkers would agree, he did it the right way, the old-fashioned way. And so it goes.

I just saw your commentary on how people who live in the Middle East have insight that those of us in the USA do not. I agree; therefore let me quote Golda Meir: "Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us".

Dear Rick
I love your show. As an 18 year old back in 1944 my dad was pulled out of college and he was shipped overseas to fight the Japanese and the Germans. Thank God Harry Truman dropped the atomic bomb or, as my dad was an 18 year old getting ready to invade Japan, I might not have been born. Many of the "Arab World" were on Hitler's side in that war and would have loved to see Hitler and the Japanese destroy America and England and take over the world. As a matter of fact, Osama Bin Laden's father was a big Hitler fan and he even had Hitler's picture in the Bin Laden house as a reminder. Do I have any remorse about fighting those who would support Hitler then or now? Think about it, maybe without Hitler we would never have truly needed an Israel. But anyone who supported Hitler then and believes in carrying out Hitler's work today is a mortal enemy and deserves to be engaged in combat. I'm hoping President Obama, who's grandfather also fought Hitler, will engage the Arab World and today's Hitler lovers and finally give them a lesson or two on what America really stands for and will always stand against. I believe the people fighting Israel and the Jews today are nothing more then Hitler's offspring still attempting to carry out his diabolical work.

Dear Rick Sanchez,
I've always enjoyed your program mainly because you seem "up front real and athentic, showing both sides of the story.
Interestingly, today you were exprassing the veiws of "real" people living and dealing with the threat and insecurity in Israel.
It may be worht while for people to also hear what the Jewish Voce for peace has to say. There is a group of "real" young israelis (just out of school) who see the situation diferantly and are refusing to serve in the Israeli military. They are called "Shministim" Some of them were put in prison for taking this stand.
this may be most news worthy.

Why is that America cannot come up with a vehicle for the president that does not look like the body parts were stolen from different parts of the world. at least one color, either black or gray . i know the poorest person in America that can afford a car has their tires shine, why can we do this for the president. I personally think the new car suck and am sure many will agree with me, just take a look again..... the neighborhood junk yard has nicer one.

Obama has no idea what he is talking about and the politicians have to stop spending our money. No more bailouts!

Rick, thank God for the representatives who managed to vote yea on the Health Care bill and allow it to pass . At last we have 220 reps who care about the American People more than their wallets.
