Hi Rick, I think former President Carter is right on the money and I do not think he is going to back down from what he is saying. From watching cnn and other programs such as your show, Larry King and Anderson Dooper, some of their guest were not willing to admit that we have a major problem with race and it is worsen since President Obama became President. The beating of the lady on your show was racially motivate just as was the beating of the white student by a black student. There is racism on both sides. I am a black female, I have been around a long time and I know racism when I see it.

Rick – THANK YOU! That jerk Reputlican from Oklahoma is exactly like you pegged him. Why did you back up – was someone there at the station pointing fingers at you saying – watch it! You had it right the first time and you said exactly what I would have like to have said to him. We're glad President Obama wants to talk to our kids – just like he raises his own girls – he cares . It seems like anything that he does is wrong. Healthcare – education – foreign affairs. It's lobbyist, big guys with money stirring up people that don't know any better. The republicans are included in that. They don't care what happens to our country – just don't want the DEMOCRATS to do anything good. IF I WERE THE PRESIDENT ABOUT NOW, I would be throwing up my hands and saying O.K. I'm trying my best to help us out of this mess – you won't let me – take this job and shove it .

I have always loved to listen to CNN but everything is getting so bad – bad mouthing everything the President does, that I can't stand to watch what is happening to our President. i WOULDN'T GIVE THE JERKS THAT WANT TO SEE HIM DEAD (LIKE THE PASTOR) one second of my time on air, that's what they want. It's so sad and he is trying so hard. It's almost tlike the Anti-Christ has appeared and we're all being sucked into what ever he (they) says. SAD, SAD, SAD!

You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything, therefore we all should stand for the rule of law. Without the rule of law we can compromise the masses for the few (who tend to suffer the most from this type of compromise).

The only reason I watch you is that I'm on the treadmill and the club only shows CNN. They won't give Fox equal time even though we've asked. You lean so far left, I'm amazed you can walk upright. Once in a while you actually make a comment that's almost fair to the other side. But you're a pretty face and obviously a big hit with the party in power. Hope you can sleep well while your country gets deeper in the hole.

If Clinton had been intelligently focused on Al Queda and Bin Laden instead of Monica Lewinsky, 9/11 would not have happened. Bin Laden learned from Clinton's fiasco in Somalia – read his fatwas!! Get informed for God's sake!! Pres. Bush had to deal with Clinton's ineptness and inattentiveness (viola – 9/ll), clean up the mess, go after Bin Laden for real, and deal with the Middle East. Have you got the courage to show this? You are always so sure of yourself – lets see if you've got what it takes to actually learn something and tell the truth! I'm doubting you can do it. We shall see. Show this comment and prove to me you're not just another uniformed talking head afraid of the obama charisma hammer....I'm waiting. I suspect you haven't got what it takes. Todays I learned more about the realities of AIG than ever before.
I was very reassured by Edward Libby's performance and have more confidence that we shall survive this financial mess.
By comparison, I found the conduct of most of the politicians today
to be totally disgusting. They seemed totally incapable of listening and generally unwilling to own their own irresponsible behaviour in not demanding all this information months age BEFORE writing blank cheques for George Bush and Bernanke.
To have reduced AIG's risk by close to a triliion in the short time he has been CEO is truly remarkable and noone seemed to get it.
To me he is a true American Hero.
my worst fear is that these ignoramusses will sabotage his efforts.

The White House Briefing should be conducted by President Obama. This guy is putting me to sleep. Also the 500K cap on top executive is perfect. It reminds the CEOs that they have to perform better if they want to get paid more. And eliminate all bonus until we get out of this mess.

On another note all cabinet members need to check for tax problems. If I pay taxes, then we should all pay our shares and stop being forgetful on what they got as gifts. Create a web-site, to check if an item is taxable or not. Also, if the person that gets the gift does not pay the taxes, then the giver should be help accountable for this recovery.
